The Kooks Are Coming to UCSD!

FM949’s Holiday Hootenanny is taking place at the RIMAC Arena on campus on December 15, featuring Queens of the Stone Age, Louis XIV, Mute Math, Rogue Wave and…The Kooks.
It’s not everyday that this four piece band hailing from Brighton, England set foot on my college campus. The day after, they’ll be playing a gig at Alice in Wonderland in downtown SF. I’ll be making my way back home around that time too for the start of my winter break.
I got my tickets this morning before heading to my Music&Film discussion (which was canceled without my knowledge). With a student discount, the tickets were $34 each. Without it, they would’ve cost $37. I was a bit unsure whether they were going to be sold out or not so I didn’t take any chances by heading straight for the Price Center Box Office when it opened at 10AM this morning.
There still might be some available within the next couple days if you’re lucky but I’d get them ASAP if you’re really interested.
